A long awaited add on to one of my most popular products. This expansion pack builds on my original How Big is the Problem? activity and is a way to target the various areas of language such as social skills and problem solving. These 30 scenario cards focus on school, home and social problems that students may face or see on a day to day basis. Each scenario card comes with its own thermometer so students can use either a dry erase marker or a clothespin to identify where on the scale that problem ranks. These cards allow you to explore the different feelings associated with the scenarios & decide what are appropriate reactions and potentially inappropriate reactions. I encourage you to delve into these issues with students and explain how even if something is not a problem it is still okay to have feelings about a situation as long as those feelings are expressed by making good choices.
